Cambuslang Harriers, since its formation in 1948, has become one of the premier cross country and road running clubs across all age groups in Scotland. We also have a very talented girls and ladies group who now regularly win major team honours.
Ronhill Cambuslang Harriers will be hosting a running seminar open to all clubs on Preparation for the Cross Country Season and Peaking for your Target Race. The two guest speakers are Freya Ross and Mark Pollard with Mike Johnston chairing and there will be the opportunity to ask questions. Freya is a multi Scottish Champion on country, road and track, GB Internationalist and a Commonwealth, European and Olympic Representative. Mark is a double winner of the Scottish Senior Cross Country Championship and coach to Johnny Glen, Scottish U20 Cross Country Champion and GB Internationalist, and to Josh Kerr, the U20 European 1500M Champion. Therefore, given their experience and achievements this should be a worthwhile and instructive evening just prior to the cross country season. The seminar is being held on Friday 2nd October at 7.15pm in Cambuslang Sports Club, Langlea Road, G72 8HG. Tickets are priced at £2 which includes tea/coffee and biscuits. There is a limited number of tickets available on a first come first served basis. If you wish to reserve your ticket with payment being made on the night please email davidccooney@gmail.com
