Cambuslang Harriers, since its formation in 1948, has become one of the premier cross country and road running clubs across all age groups in Scotland. We also have a very talented girls and ladies group who now regularly win major team honours.
There were a number of excellent performances this weekend. Congrats to all. Kerry finished an excellent 3rd and first vet (2.30.36) in the Scottish champs today at Inverness. Davey M was 7th in 10K and Colin finished 2nd vet over 50 in a pb of 36.18. We had 3 male teams and 1 female team at the Kilbarchan relays on Saturday with a number of our youths competing in the men’s event. Our A team of father and son Charlie and Ryan supported by Corky and Robert took 2nd place while our ladies’ team of Alex, Kirsty Anderson (her debut) and Katie finished a creditable 4th. Official times are not yet on the website. Finally Dave T and Frank finished first and second at he Strathclyde Parkrun with Frank breaking the over 60 record held by Andy McAlinden. David F was the first over 65.

We cater for runners of all abilities and offer regular training sessions based from our clubhouse in Cambuslang, we also have regular training on the track at the John Wright Sport Centre in East Kilbride, why not come along and join us?
