Cambuslang Harriers, since its formation in 1948, has become one of the premier cross country and road running clubs across all age groups in Scotland. We also have a very talented girls and ladies group who now regularly win major team honours.
Ronhill Cambuslang Harriers won several awards on Tuesday 11th March at the Rutherglen and Cambuslang Sports Performers of the year awards, in Rutherglen Town Hall.
Kade Thomas won the Junior Male
The club won Team of the year
Frank Hurley won the Veteran award
and club stalwart Robert Anderson won the Scottish Association of Local sports Council Award, and also a Special award for his long and valued contribution to local sport
Adult Sports Performer of the Year: James McLaren (Rugby)
Junior Male Sports Performer of the Year: Kade Thomas (Athletics)
Junior Female Sports Performer of the Year: Lauren McKenzie (Karate)
Senior Team of the Year: Ronhill Cambuslang Harriers (Athletics)
Junior Team of the Year: Rutherglen Lawn Tennis Club (U’14 Boys) (Tennis)
Coach of the Year: Lindsay Young (Swimming)
Veteran of the Year: Frank Hurley (Athletics)
Scottish Assoc of Local Sports Councils Award: Robert Anderson

Interested in joining one of Scotland's premier road and cross country running clubs as a member or a volunteer? We cater for runners of all abilities and offer regular training sessions based from our clubhouse in Cambuslang, we also have regular training on the track at the John Wright Sport Centre in East Kilbride, why not come along and join us?
