  • Who are Cambuslang Harriers?

    Cambuslang Harriers, since its formation in 1948, has become one of the premier cross country and road running clubs across all age groups in Scotland. We also have a very talented girls and ladies group who now regularly win major team honours.

    DOUBLE BRITISH TEAM GOLD FOR CAMBUSLANG HARRIERS’ GOLDEN OLDIES

    The British Masters Cross Country Championships for athletes over the age of 35 was held this year at Grant Park in Forres, Morayshire. The local club Forres Harriers with generous support from the council and local food and drink businesses ensured that the runners were well looked after. While the weather was very cold with some snowflakes falling early on the parkland and hill trails were firm for the 232 entered runners.     DBTR Races new date 20th May

    Cambuslang Harriers are delighted to announce the rescheduled date of the Down By The River Races the races will now take place on Sunday 20th May 2018, all other details remain the same.     !Down By The River Races Postponed!

    after much discussion we have reluctantly taken the decision to cancel and reschedule this Sunday's "Down By The River" 10k and 3k. Given the current weather situation and travel advice as of Thursday 1st, and the Met Office yellow warning of snow until midnight Saturday, we do not feel it would be right, or safe, to expect people to travel. The course is currently covered in deep snow, as can be seen in the photos. and temperatures are not predicted to rise by Sunday.
