We’ve been benefiiting from some fine weather this week, with blue skies and wall-to-wall sunshine…perfect for early morning, mid afternoon and evening runs during this lockdown.

To keep our spirits high, this week we have had the opportunity to run for 15min – a little bit of fun in the sun.  We as a club continue to support the NHS and key workers on a Thursday night and the Whats App group discuss a broad range of issues to keep people sane through banter and chanter.

I look forward to seeing how many junior and seniors have taken part in the 15min challenge. The juniors being considered for the Mars Bar challenge and I am thinking about contacting Robert Gilroy to see if he fancies a Pizza challenge for the seniors!!

 

The debate on the Whats App is interesting and all I would say is remember to focus on your own training and daily runs, personally I am following the Gold plan from our coach Simon – remember the phrase Simon says!
