Cambuslang Harriers, since its formation in 1948, has become one of the premier cross country and road running clubs across all age groups in Scotland. We also have a very talented girls and ladies group who now regularly win major team honours.
As intimated through our Google group last Thursday evening, we were all saddened to hear of the death of Jimmy Sands, one of the club’s great characters. The Email responses exemplified how much he was revered within the club, and he will be sadly missed. His funeral will take place on Friday 6th June at 1pm, Woodside Crematorium, Paisley. Family flowers only please, however, if you feel you need to do something a donation to Accord Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
