You will by now be aware of last night’s announcement of new restrictive measures on everyone.
You will no doubt be thinking what last night’s announcement means first of all for you, your family, work or studies and then running.
As a club member he first thing to do is look after your health and wellbeing, and comply with the instruction issued last night.
Secondly, we still have the the opportunity to run albeit, on your own.
Coaches have provided their groups with training plans so keep these going.
Use your Garmin and Strava if you can to post and record runs. Take part in the virtual Mars Bar challenge by coming up with the most interesting plan/place to run and sharing it. A virtual prize each week.
Scottish Athletics will post some blogs over the coming days and weeks so tune in.
This will pass and when it does we can hit the streets in red and white, but at the moment do what is right.
